Maxi Lap Aluminum Heads 8" and 10"

Covington is proud to announce our all new aluminum heads machined out of solid billet 6061 aircraft aluminum. These solid heads are stronger and heavier duty than our old cast aluminum heads. Attach a sanding or polishing disc directly to the face and it's ready to use. You can order these heads with sponge rubber for a more cushioned, softer grind, or without rubber wherein you attach your disc directly to the head. This will give you a harder surface to grind on. We recommend "feathering disc adhesive" for attaching discs to both aluminum head styles. The maxi lap heads feature a 1/2"-20RH thread and a shorter hub for use with Covington's Maxi Lap series grinders. The image shows our aluminum head without rubber.
