A 3/8" pipe adapter enables the standard drain kit to connect to the front of vertical sander units and the back of Covington's grinder units for efficient water drainage.
Horizontal sanders and sheet metal drain pans require a 1/4" pipe adapter fitting for proper drainage.
Older Covington Maxi Lap Series models need a special drain kit with a brass elbow for correct drainage.
The special drain kit includes a 3/8" pipe fitting, a 3/8" brass elbow, and the necessary tubing for drainage.
Models purchased since 2020 are compatible with a standard 3/8" pipe drain kit.
