For producing flat surfaces there is nothing like an oscillating lap. A precision shaft-driven offset produces a true orbital action of over 1,300 cycles per minute, giving flat, smooth surfaces on geodes, bookends and slabs quickly and quietly — without the bounce and splash of an ordinary vibrating lap.
